Rosicki, Rosicki & Associates law firm has never wavered in their commitment to work with people with disabilities. Tom Rosicki is an active and enthusiatic member of The Rehabilition Instute’s (TRI) Business Advisory Council and the First Vice President of Nassau AHRC’s Board of Directors. His staff, under Tom and his Office manager, Katie McCoy, have been trained to be welcoming and helpful. He enthusiastically states that agency people have enriched his organization. Over the years, TRI employees have earned a series of promotions. This is aided by the whole staff’’s support and Tom and Katie’s philosophy that “you should be as good as you can be.” This positive approch gives everyone the opportunity to excel. In addition to his one on one contibutions, Tom supports the rehabilition community on his personal time. He does a very popular “Career Day” series, holding practice interviews, teaching how to dress for success and present and follow through on a proper handshake. Not only does he hire individuals with disabilities, he encourages other law firms to do so as well. Tom Rosicki as an employer as well as an individual has consistenly gone above and beyond to ensure success and services as an example far beyond Nassau County.
